I recently watched the TV Show, “America’s Got Talent”, where they interviewed a young man that had never sang in public.

His own parents had never heard him sing. Any training he had was self-taught behind closed doors.

As he began to sing, the judges and the audience were flabbergasted. As he finished his song, everyone stood to their feet to give him a standing ovation.

This young man saw something he could do well and developed it.

Do you see something that you can do well?

Do you love to sing? dance?

Do you have a desire to help others?

How could you develop your gifts and talents?

Every person ever born has a talent or gift bestowed upon them from the Creator of the Universe.

Yes, you have gifts and talents!

Maybe in your heart, you have a longing to try something, but you have never told anyone.

Think of your gifts like diamonds in the rough.rough diamond

Have you considered how a diamond is made and prepared:

– created deep within the earth under great pressure and heat

– dug up

– a gem cutter works on the stone (which may include: sawing, grinding, sanding, lapping, drilling, tumbling and polishing)gemcutter

The end product is a masterpiece.

In the same way, God wants each of us to develop our gifts.

Don’t hide what you have been given. It will take courage to try, but try. Don’t let fear stop you.

Start today.

Then as you take steps to develop your gifts, you, like a diamond, will reflect the light of God to the world around you.

So girlfriend, go shine!                       Brillanten
